Is the free account really free?
Yes. You get an email whenever a new act is linked to your business's CAEN codes, with the act's name and number. It does not expire, we do not ask for a card, and you can try Business free for a month whenever you like.
What does Business add?
An automatic summary of each act, with a link to the official text, a calendar of the deadlines set in the acts, published funding programmes, and search across all the legislation we follow. It costs €5 a month plus VAT.
Do I get legal or tax advice?
No. LexAlia is automated software: it follows officially published acts, matches them to your business's CAEN codes and summarises them. We do not provide legal, tax or accounting advice and do not answer questions about specific situations.
When can I use the free month of Business?
Whenever you choose: when you open the account or later, from the Subscription page. It lasts 30 days, once per business. At the end the account returns to Free by itself; you pay only if you choose a subscription.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You enter a card only if you choose Business. Payment is handled by Paddle, which also issues the invoice.
How is it invoiced, and how does VAT work?
Paddle, the merchant of record, issues the invoice in the company's name: name, CUI and registered office. A VAT-registered company pays €5 a month without VAT (reverse charge). A company or sole trader not registered for VAT pays €5 plus 21% VAT.

Businesses only (B2B): companies, sole traders and other professionals in Romania, for their professional activity. We do not sell to private individuals.
